Cinnamon and Maple Syrup
(serves 2)
1.5 cups of water
1 cups of oatmeal
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 - 1/2 cup of maple syrup, your preference (i like butter flavored)
1. bring water/cinnamon solution to a boil
2. add oatmeal, salt, maple syrup to boiling solution, then reduce heat
3. simmer until ready
4. enjoy with milk

Strawberry Banana Smoothie Oatmeal

1/4 teaspoon of vanilla
1 cup whole frozen strawberries (about 5 strawberries)
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon of sugar (optional)
1. blend water, banana, and strawberries
2. bring water/strawberry/banana solution to a boil
3. add oatmeal, salt, vanilla to boiling solution, then reduce heat
4. simmer until ready
5. enjoy with milk
